Shriners Hospitals for Children

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Any and all children, up to age 18, with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip are eligible for care. Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy

The Plane of Mercy supports the Midian Shrine Hospital Van unit whose purpose is to transport patients and their parents to and from Shrine Hospitals for treatment. A dedicated group of volunteers has logged over 2 million miles in their 5 vans. Midian serves an average of over 600 children per year from south central and southwest Kansas.
