A fair trade coffeehouse
Mead's Corner's Vision is to be a place where Church and community cross paths. We got that idea from the Bible. Jesus and his followers spent most of their time with people in the places they lived and worked and shared a meal. So, Mead’s Corner's vision is to be a place where people of all walks of life can spend time together in the non-threatening setting of a first-class coffeehouse. We want people to spend time together over coffee, lunch, a latte, a dessert or conversation, in a place that demonstrates love for others, a passion for mission to people in need, and an environment rich in arts and live music. We pray that life-giving relationships will come from our vision. Mead's Corner is owned by First United Methodist Church, profits above operating costs support ministries which help people in need in Wichita and across the World. 2009 missions are Park Elementary School in Wichita and disaster relief for children in Myanmar.
