The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce its first annual Shop ‘til you Drop at the Yacht: A Ladies Night out at the Wichita Boathouse which will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 5pm to 9:30pm at the Wichita Boathouse.
Both floors of the Boathouse will be full of vendors selling a variety of posh products. Admission is $1 and shoppers will get to sample free appetizers, desserts, and drinks from area caterers. Shoppers will also be eligible to win door prizes which will be announced throughout the evening.

This event is the first in a series of events the Hall of Fame is planning to make the Boathouse once again a vibrant part of the Wichita community. “The original Wichita Boathouse was a central part of the Wichita community during the first half of the 1900s and it is our goal at the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame to make the current Boathouse the same type of place. This event will be a great way for the women of Wichita to come out and see this beautiful building while taking part in a fun event,” said Laura Hartley, Boathouse Events Manager.
